- Great time to take advantage of sky-high buyer demand. At the end of December 2020, the Kansas City Metro had a combined supply of Inventory for New Construction and existing resale of 0.08 months. That is to say that in less than one (1) month, all inventory that was for sale, would be under contract.
- Home Showings, at the end of December 2020 and continuing into 2021, are up almost 50% as compared to last year.
- Bidding wars…bidding wars…bidding wars….on homes for sale. This is allowing Sellers to sit in the Driver’s Seat not only as to price, but terms and conditions such as inspection repairs and appraisal waivers. I will get into this in more detail in later posts.
So, as of today, the WHY? is pretty clear: If you are on the fence about selling your house, now is a great time to take advantage of sky-high demand, low supply, and fierce buyer competition.
